The Master Plan  |  View Conceptual Plan The Friends of the Ames Dog Park has reached its fundraising goal of $50,000! Continued interest in the new Off-Leash Dog Park is greatly appreciated. The City of Ames Parks and Recreation Department will be receiving bids on the project this summer. It is anticipated that construction would begin in the fall, with completion anticipated in the spring/early summer of 2009.
